About Amelia Mulkey

Amelia Mulkey is a filmmaker, director, and creative director from Venice Beach, California. Her work spans narrative film, theater, documentary, and commercial storytelling, with a focus on emotionally honest performances and immersive, place driven stories.

Her commercial clients include Google, Apple, Mozilla, Facebook, and Motorola. She is also an award-winning theater director, earning multiple Best Director honors for her work on the Los Angeles stage.

Her films have received recognition including Best Short Film awards for Grief Party, Red, and The Unicorn Girl. Her short film Dashboard Saints was a semifinalist for the Kodak/Shore Scripts Short Film Fund.

Mulkey recently wrapped principal photography on her debut feature film, FLOATING, which received support from the Montana Big Sky Film Grant.
